Conference Student Assistantships

2009 SNAG
Conference
May 20-23, 2009
Philadelphia, PA
Twenty-five SNAG student members who work at the annual SNAG Conference for 6 hours will each receive a 40% conference registration refund. The waiver will be given in the form of a refund once the work has been completed.
How do I sign up?
Watch for announcements through SNAGnet and emails in
January 2009 with details on how to sign up. The Student
Assistantships will be given on a first come, first served
basis; so be one of the first 25 student members to
respond. A waiting list will be also be kept.
Only SNAG student members are eligible. Student non-members are not eligible, but are welcome to sign up for the assistantship program if they join SNAG at the same time.
How will I know if I am accepted?
You will receive an email confirming your participation.
What do the jobs include?
Jobs may include helping with conference registration,
checking badges, operating lights during presentations, serving
as a runner in the vendor room, stocking the free literature
table or assisting with the auction. SNAG will make every
effort to ensure that you are still able to attend most of the
presentations – in fact, some of these jobs do not
conflict with attending presentations at all.
