Metal sculptor Albert Paley recently had thirteen new sculptures installed on Park Avenue in New York City as part of The Fund for Park Avenue’s Temporary Public Art Collection. WXXI was given access to Paley and his team, documenting the project every step of the way.
Gold, which began the month of June at more than $1,400 an ounce, crashed through the psychologically important $1,200 barrier on June 27, reaching its lowest level since June 2010.
The Revere Academy will hold a world-class series of workshops during its 2013 Masters Symposium, from June 22-30, 2013. Instructors include Linda Darty, Curtis Arima, Alan Revere, and Suzanne Pugh. Classes are open to students at all levels.
The Symposium will also include a Wednesday evening lecture/reception for visiting masters, open to the public.

Over three evenings, explore contemporary art practice in the state of Oregon with the Hallie Ford Fellows in the Visual Arts. Each panel features individual artist presentations followed by a moderated conversation around a central question that currently influences the local creative climate.
