MFA Graduate Teaching Assistantships at the University of Iowa

The University of Iowa is accepting applications for the Jewelry & Metal Arts MFA program. Currently available positions come with a graduate teaching assistantship, which includes a full-tuition scholarship, stipend, introductory level teaching experience in metals, and 24-hour access to a private graduate studio.

Students within our 3 year MFA program work in the brand new, state-of-the-art building which is equipped with a 3D rapid prototyping facility; CNC laser cutter, plasma cutter, mill, and lathe; a 250 gal. electroforming facility (the largest in any academic setting!); a 90 gal. anodizing tank; 2’x4’ vacuum thermoforming machine; a 50-ton hydraulic press; as well as a fully stocked metals studio.
