SNAG Conference is this Week!

Join us in New Orleans this week, May 24-27, 2017!

NexusNicknamed the “Big Easy,” New Orleans is known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene, and exceptional cuisine. A melting pot of French, African, and American cultures, it is one of the country’s most culturally and historically-rich cities. Its beauty, mystery and continuous regeneration is the perfect backdrop and inspiration for SNAG’s 46th conference, “Nexus: A Connection of Ideas.”

“Nexus: A Connection of Ideas” will focus on motivating thinkers, collectors, and makers to bring new and old, materials, techniques, and ideas together in a true New Orleans celebration.

Tool in the Hat Fundraiser

Pass It On!

TITH 1

One can never have too many tools! But sometimes tools and materials collect dust in our shops and take up space, mental and otherwise. The necessity of the tool and its purpose may have long passed as our work evolved. Now along comes a bright-eyed metalsmith, fresh in the field, who could use that hammer, that shear, that thingy you have to create something new and great. Why not donate your whatchamacallit to the Tool in the Hat fundraiser at the SNAG conference? Get rid of some clutter and do something that will enrich others in our SNAG community and do some good for our field.

We are looking for old tools, metal bits, old books that still have function, unusual materials such as plastics or wood. Odds and ends, basically anything gently used or new that could be of interest to someone else. Let’s see what you’ve got. Thank you!

How to Donate:

  • Fill out this Donor Form online. If you are donating multiple items, you will have a chance to list them individually here on this form.  OR…
