2017 Educational Endowment Scholarships
SNAG awards three student scholarships with at least one award given to a student that is currently an undergraduate. These scholarships are for tuition towards the students’ degree granting programs.

2017 SNAG Student Exhibition Awards
Nexus: The 2017 Juried Student Exhibition highlighted student work that challenges traditional and non-traditional ways of working using new and old materials, techniques, and ideas by the next generation of makers in the metalsmithing and jewelry field. The exhibition was held in May during the SNAG conference in New Orleans.

2017 Halstead Design Challenge Winners
The 2017 Halstead Design Challenge “Memento” asked artists to incorporate a photo into a brooch constructed primarily from materials in the Halstead challenge kit. Only 200 challenge kits were available. A juried selection from all entries was exhibited at the SNAG New Orleans Conference in May 2017. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who participated!
