SNAG Stories with Sarah Rachel Brown
Schedule TBA | Price Room (Fifth Floor)
Sarah Rachel Brown of the Perceived Value podcast will be set up at the conference to capture your memories – or first-time experiences – of SNAG. This special conference feature, similar to NPR’s StoryCorps, is part of SNAG’s 50th birthday celebration. Sign up to commemorate your stories during this historic event (time slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis).
Sarah Rachel Brown is an adornment artist located in Philadelphia where she is a member of the JV Collective, a collaborative contemporary jewelry studio. Beyond her studio practice, Sarah contributes to the contemporary jewelry field through her podcast Perceived Value, as a contributing writer for Metalsmith Magazine, and as Art Jewelry Forum’s US Ambassador. Sarah has been an artist-in-residence at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, a Core Fellow at the Penland School of Craft, and received her education through a 3-year apprenticeship with Seattle based jeweler, Sarah Loertscher. Sarah has exhibited both nationally and internationally most recently during the inaugural NYCJW.
