My work is as much about the finished product as it is about investigating the inner workings of myself and the world around me. I have always been interested in the natural world; exoskeletons and shells especially, and It was not until I started And-How that I really began investigating why. After a lot of research I finally realized that it is the natural defense mechanisms that inspire my creations. The way in which such small and fragile creatures can thrive in such harsh environments is at the root of all my work. It becomes a wearable story of survival, adaptation and soldiering on.
