My work reflects an attention to detail, combining contrasting textures with bold shapes. My inspiration thrives on repetition and geometric form while creating an unconventional, eco-chic style. Each piece is carefully hand fabricated from start to finish using sustainable raw precious metals. I create designs that combine the relationship between contemporary and mid-century modern design, with a focus on simplicity and everyday adornment. Designing jewelry is a passion and a way to express my creativity through visual storytelling.

Cindy Liebel (the last name is pronounced... Lee-Bull) is a self-taught metalsmith. After a few years of college studying art and photography, she pursued further education in computer science and paralegal studies. Cindy's years of studying techniques in photography influence her creativity through visual storytelling. Cindy came about a metalsmithing class from a local goldsmith, where she learned basic metalsmithing techniques and has since been creating jewelry primarily with sterling silver.

Cindy rebranded and launched Cindy Liebel Jewelry in 2010 with a goal to create modern, understated designs for everyday wear. She combines the relationship between architectural, geometric and art deco blueprint, with a focus on sustainability with traditional and modern processes.

Growing up, her creative passions were making her own clothes, pottery, crocheting, solving various puzzles, outdoor adventures and more. Cindy is dedicated to creating jewelry that reflects individuality and evokes emotion to last a lifetime and she enjoys creating pieces that become a part of one’s personal life.
