Humans are the only living species on this planet concerned with beautifying the world with art. For me, making beautiful objects of art is to experience my humanity. Making beautiful objects of art loaded with meaning and purpose is to bring humanity to the experience of my world.

American-Syrian artist Heba Barazi is a Metalsmith and polymer clay artist with a Ph.D. in molecular biology. A thirty years resident of the beautiful State of Virginia, she is currently an assistant professor of science working and living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She received metalsmith and polymer clay training through workshops and master classes in the US and UAE. Heba's work has been exhibited in Galleries in the United States and recently published in The Polymer Arts magazine. Heba is an educator and mentor teaching art workshops regularly at the local art museum, Manrat Al Saadiyat. She maintains an active studio practice making and selling wearable art objects through local retail galleries and internationally.
