Biography

I attended Indiana University of Bloomington from 2010-2014 and graduated with a BA in Visual Art Education for Kindergarten through 12th grade. It was at Indiana University that I studied under renowned metalsmiths such as Galatea Kontos, Lisa Wilson, Jennifer Wells, Randy Long, and Nicole Jacquard. Those women taught me everything they knew about metalsmithing and also gave me a passion for an art form I had never known before.

After graduation, I moved to Denver, Colorado and accepted a job at an elementary school in Aurora, Colorado teaching students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I still have a studio dedicated to my work and try and create as much as time allows.

I hope to someday go to Graduate school and study further in the Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design field.
