Biography

I enjoy the additive process of soldering and fusing, of building layers in my work resulting in cage and web-like forms. In my body of work I explore how this mirrors the connections and synapses in in our brains to store memories.

I began making jewelry in high school, where I took several years of jewelry making classes. I was in love with metalsmithing and HAD to pursue it further. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan with my BFA in Art & Design and my emphasis in Metalsmithing/Jewelry Making. I currently work full time out of my home studio. My work is available online and in several galleries.
