Résumé

Artistic Ethic

Intellect and ability are gifts. We have been making unremitting efforts to keep them for the future through experience and diligence. Through a long and deep period of time, at last the treasure was all given to us. We inherited the precious and bountiful heritage from our ancestors, scholars, and masters.

The experience as truth, ethics, and wisdom was conveyed from them to us. We must contribute to the proliferation of the legacy. We should have to hand back these experiences to future generations to give them new opportunities for growth. We also must have noble aspirations in mind. Integrity is the greatest asset a person can have.

Based on sincerity, we should not stop our movement by the continued practice of immortality. We have to preserve our vanishing culture. We hope that our study will be alive with a new prospect in our glorious history. Founded on the ethics of humble and honesty, we will fulfill our obligations by the dignity of human spirits. Here is our divine responsibility and a lofty duty for arts and culture.

Work Statement

To become one with the body and calm breathing as the moving wind delivers the trustworthy comfort of balance through and through. My work represents the expression of human emotion as motion, with an implicit tension and harmony between and among body, space, and mind – between the human being and nature.

My challenge is to express the balance between the human emotion and motion. For expression of human emotion in motion to become one, it should bring observation, consideration, and understanding. I believe that a mutually harmonious relationship is a fundamental way to communicate with objects and viewers. In particular, my main subject matter is a human being. This is the closest existence to us more than anything else. In addition, it can be a beneficial meaning for recovery of human identity by understanding and communicating with human beings.

First, to become one is to form a relationship with the human spirit and to establish representation by understanding and consideration for thinking about one another. Second, to become one is to form a genuine partnership with motion and emotion through confidence and belief in communication. Lastly, to become one is to imply a new expression of the form of the object based on the concept of minimal. Additionally, the work is based on the formation of moderation such as simplicity, repetitiveness, clarity, objectivity, and purity. During the process of simplifying complex and various design concepts, it can find a new sphere for creating a new type of formation.

All things considered, the process of my works is the practice of becoming one with my works, mind, and viewer. The process can be one with me or not with me. I believe that a strong understanding of relationships will stand for our spiritual works as the basis for a successful artistic partnership between the mind and action. Based on those experiences, I want to share the emotion in my works and my mind. I realized it can deliver harmony and cooperation for human beings. In this way I hope my works are being created by my hands very honestly and sincerely as a simple and humble worker.
