My work reflects phenomena - natural or man made, that is surrounding and intriguing me. I try to catch the main ideas of these phenomena, the esthetic language of form, color, structure but also the interaction. Then I transfer these ideas into objects wearable on the human body. This happens during an experimental process, that is the most challenging and fun about my work.
I did a traditional goldsmithing apprenticeship and learnt all the classical jewelry making techniques. I also studied design in Germany and in Australia to find own ways of creating jewelry.
Since then I am constantly working on creative concepts to express my ideas and create my own statements within the craftsmanship.
In all of my work there is the insistence on wearability - it needs the wearer to become `alive´.
