Profile picture of Kathy Bankston

Escape with me to a world of fine silver, torch fired enamel and glistening lampwork beads.  Welcome to my studio, my passion. This fine artisan jewelry is completely made by hand.  Because of this, no two pieces will ever be alike.  The marks of hand tooling and natural imperfections will make this jewelry a true treasure of the heart.   I hope you will enjoy my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it.

Kathy Bankston is a metalsmith, weaver, and lampwork bead maker from Hitchcock, Texas. A true artisan of many mediums. She takes pride in hand making most everything that goes into her designs. Her metal jewelry is designed, sketched, sawed, shaped and soldered all by hand. Her weaving is done on a loom using only the finest silks, threads, and beads. She makes lampwork beads from Effetre and CiM soda glass and kiln anneals them in her glass studio. Many of her items are one of a kind and each is made with heart, soul and an outpouring of love.
