Résumé

 

Shelby Goldsmith earned her BFA in Metalsmithing & Jewelry ('14) from Maine College of Art, where she teaches occasional Continuing Studies classes. She is the secretary for the Metals Collective*, which she exhibits her work with regularly. She resides in Maine, where she is building her studio practice. Having recently received the Belvedere Fund to outfit her home studio, she is working towards converting her antique hayloft into a workspace.

*The Metals Collective is a Portland, ME based group of metalsmiths & jewelers, who regularly organize local exhibitions. Their mission is to promote the craft of metalsmithing & jewelry through collaboration, growth, and public engagement.
