Rebecca Welz: Inner and Outer Spaces

The Spotlight Gallery at the Society of Arts + Crafts will present Rebecca Welz: Inner and Outer Spaces from February 21-May 5, 2019. The exhibition features sculpture, collage and jewelry by metal artist Rebecca Welz. This intimate exhibition presents a grouping of works that explore movement, light and color. Sculptures and other pieces, displayed on the floor and wall, as well as hanging from the ceiling, invite viewers to immerse themselves in a galaxy of motion, form and material.

Rebecca Welz lives and works in New York City. Welz studied at Empire State College and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. The artist is a professor at the Pratt Institute in New York City and has recently exhibited at SciArt Center in Easton, PA, Cherrystone Gallery in Wellfleet, MA and June Kelly Gallery, her representative gallery, in New York City. Inner and Outer Spaces will be on view through May 5, 2019.
