Please join us for a lecture by Martha Banyas on November 12, 2019 from 5-6pm in the Fine Arts Building, room 204 on the BGSU campus. There is metered parking in lot N adjacent to the Art Building for visitors.

About the Artist:
MARTHA BANYAS is a longtime Portland resident, artist, educator, and dealer of ethnographic arts, who has been working in enamels for over 40 years. During her extensive travels to SE Asia and Turkey, her work evolved in many directions including mask-making, life-size puppet design, and jewelry, as well as small-scale sculpture. During her residency at BGSU she will be working with ceramic decals and different applications of mason stains in combination with enamels.
