Tech Assistant- Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM
The Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM (M/J/C-C) Program at Tyler School of Art, Temple University is seeking a full-time technician to maintain and manage an extensive analog and digital studio. This position is a dual reporting role that also reports to the Senior Facility Manager. Knowledge of all aspects of a Jewelry and Rapid Prototyping studio practice is necessary. Experience with digital fabrication tools and processes preferred. Management, organizational, and record-keeping skills are required. The M/J/C-C technician will be expected to work in direct coordination with the Department Chair, Program Head, area faculty, IT staff, and the Senior Facility Manager. All applicants must be willing and able to work with other studio disciplines and technicians as needed.
