Residency in Metal Arts

Artist in Residence: Metal Arts

Artist in Residence will receive housing accommodations and complete access to the Metal Arts studio. In exchange, the AiR will volunteer for BCAT 25 hours a week, assisting mainly in the Youth Arts Program after school and during the 5 week summer program. The AiR will also assist with gallery duties. In liu of a stipend, the AiR will have the option to teach Adult Metals classes (one night a week, 10 weeks) for monetary compensation. Artists are also given a solo exhibition in BCAT's gallery. Residencies last a minimum of six months and a maximum of one year. Applicants must have completed their MFA or have equivalent experience to apply.
