SNAG is making a short video campaign called “I am SNAG.” It will use videos to draw attention to the value of SNAG and reinvigorate our membership. SNAG members: you can take a photo of yourself holding a sign (something written in Sharpie is fine or get out the crayons and go crazy with it!) The sign should say “I am SNAG” or if you are part of a group, it can say “We are SNAG”; and/or take a very quick (4-8 second, 20 second maximum) video clip of you saying “I am so-and-so and I am SNAG”, the short clips will be edited and compiled into the final product. Deadline: August 22, 2013. Contact Jen Townsend at email@example.com for more details.

SNAG has announced a new initiative that will roll out this fall called Road2Success. It is our new mentoring program. Road2Success will connect experienced SNAG members in our field with upcoming and mid-career talent, to pass on their wisdom and experience. The focus of this program is on business and career skills. Through SNAG you will connect to the right people who can answer your questions about entrepreneurship and business and career development in a variety of industry sectors. We are starting this initiative as a one-year pilot program. Assuming the project is successful after its initial year, we will then be ready to broaden the scope and number of participants. Learn more and indicate your interest.
