Call for Entries: (Up)Setting the Stone
Call for Entries
Deadline extended to September 30, 2016
As the third juried member exhibition in the We Are SNAG series, (Up)Setting the Stone is an exhibition looking for your interpretation of settings. Stonesetting has been utilized in some of the earliest known jewelry. There are thousands of variations based on a few different techniques. Whether used traditionally with gemstones, applied to new materials, or even explored as a concept, this exhibition focuses on the setting. Submissions such as jewelry, objects, vessels, sculpture, and architecture will be considered, but are not limited to these categories.
Juried by George Sawyer and Laura Wood, only images of works completed by current SNAG members will be evaluated.
WE ARE SNAG: Contemporary Smiths
A virtual exhibition celebrating the breadth of our field and membership.
From “blacksmith” to “goldsmith,” “silversmith” to “bladesmith,” the term “smith” denotes connotations of skill and mastery. Juried by Sue Amendolara, Greg Gehner, and Tom Muir, this online exhibition embraces the work of contemporary smiths and highlights some of the extraordinary works created by members of SNAG.

SNAG would like to take this opportunity to recognize our Corporate Members for their support: Aaron Faber Gallery, Halstead, Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company, and Pocosin Arts.
Genesis: Life and Form Through Different Lenses
Genesis: Life and Form Through Different Lenses by Ezra Satok-Wolman and Wendy McAllister runs October 18-25 at the China Shanghai International Jewelry Design Forum. The exhibition and forum take place during Shanghai’s annual Jewelry and Fashion Week.
