2015 Educational Endowment Scholarships

SNAG awards three student scholarships with at least one award given to a student that is currently an undergraduate. These scholarships are for tuition towards the students’ degree granting programs.

SNAG/crafthaus Conference Scholarship

Application for the scholarship is open to all SNAG and crafthaus members (must be a member of both organizations), regardless of location or background. The recipient must have finished their education and be in the field of jewelry or metalsmithing. The recipient will receive a SNAG conference fee waiver and more. Learn more>>>

Conference Student Scholarships

deadline January 21, 2014
Educators may request a scholarship for a student. Scholarships are limited to Jewelry/Metals degree-seeking students, full-time or part-time, and including community colleges. Each scholarship covers the registration fee for the conference. Students are responsible for their travel, accommodations and other expenses. Learn more>>>

Portfolio Reviews are for emerging artists and students. Gallery representatives, curators, artist/professors, entrepreneurs, and other professionals in the metals field will be available by appointment to review portfolios and provide professional advice and guidance. Learn more>>>

Educational Endowment Scholarships

SNAG recognizes the achievements and potential of those members currently enrolled as full-time students in undergraduate, graduate and community college programs through our Educational Endowment Scholarships.

Three scholarships are given annually. The scholarships are for tuition towards the artists’ degree granting program. There are three tiers of awards: one for $2000, one for $1500, and the third at $1000.

Deadline March 15, 2014.
